CHICAGO | About 1,000 Chicago Police Department officers and employees have participated in an MBA program or degree completion program offered by St. Xavier University’s Graham School of Management at the Chicago Police Department Education and Training Division.

St. Xavier and the Chicago Police celebrated a 10-year partnership with a reception honoring the academic and professional accomplishments of program graduates on Jan. 24 in the Butler Reception Room of the Warde Academic Center.

St. Xavier University offers an entire MBA program specifically for CPD officers and employees.

“The success of this collaboration can be measured by the fact that over 1,000 Chicago Police officers have attended school here,” said Chicago Police deputy superintendent Hiram Grau. “The lives of 1,000 officers and their families have been forever enriched due to this partnership. I can speak from personal experience, because I am a graduate of St. Xavier University.”

CPD students have the opportunity of studying various concentrations as they work toward their MBA, such as Financial Fraud Examination, Training and Workplace Learning, and Disaster Preparedness and Management.
